Final Card Class for the semester
For the last week of adult education card class, I sort of felt that I had to give them my very best; or as good as the last week's cards, anyway. I scoured the internet and found some really great cards to style mine after.
This first card was styled after a card made by Jess Fazio, who posted a card on YouTube. We both used Close to My Heart products. For mine, I used the Dotty For You papers which is the May promotion.
My second card was created after viewing a video by Gina K., also on YouTube. She demonstrated using a die and then cutting off a section of it to match the edge of the card. I stamped the images using C1500 "Under the Sea" stamp set.
This Thank You card is actually NOT copied from someone's design. I wanted to use the brads alone, but they just faded into the paper. I had to cover the holes I made which is why the Sweet Leaf ribbon. In future cards, the sentiment should be placed a little further to the left.
Again, this is a card I copied from another CTMH consultant. Unfortunately, I didn't write down their name. I will research it, and revise this post when I find out who. On the original card, she used tiny pearls in each of the scallops on the card, but I didn't have enough for everyone. I used sparkles, but most of my class used pearls. I must admit, the pearls do look nicer.
If you have any questions on any products or techniques I used, please send me an email.
