Once again, I want to let you know about a
wonderful Cricut cartridge available from Close to My Heart. The newest
cartridge is called Artiste. It has 700 images many of which can be
used to create 3-D items.
I am getting ready to return to school in a couple of weeks, so I decided to create book boxes for my students to keep their little reading books in. I used the magazine box which comes in 2 parts. I cut the images at 9". It required me to let half of the top part of the box to hang off the mat on the Gyspy and I cut it twice. The finished boxes are large enough to allow the students to keep some of the very small books and the reproducible books that we print out for them. I used 3 12 x 12 sheets of cardstock for each box, but there is a lot left over to use in other projects.

If you notice, I put the green one together upside down but it works just as well.
