Cloud 9 cards with a twist

Hi Everyone.  Happy New Year. It is just after midnight, new year's wishes have been bestowed, kisses have been given and received, and it is time to blog.  I'm listening to my neighbors trying to outdo each other with firecrackers and other assorted fireworks.  I hope nobody blows anything up!

Anyway, I spent my New Year's Eve sitting at my craft table creating cards using the January National Paper Crafting Month kit, Cloud 9.  The only difference is that instead of the orangey paper, I used a sheet from the Laughing Lola paper pack.  I love that pack and am so glad it will still be around for the next 6 months.  I love the colors in that pack.

So, I followed the directions but substituted Laughing Lola wherever the other papers were.  I also made a few minor changes to keep everything together. I used Gypsy and Lagoon Ink.  Everything else came from the kit.

Remember, this kit will only be available during the month of January.  You can get the kit for only $15 with a qualifying purchase.  If you shop on my online store, make sure you get to add the kit BEFORE you close out the order. You should get a prompt when you go to checkout at the bottom of the screen to add it to your order. If you don't, I won't be able to fix it later. Once you qualify, and add this to your order, you will also qualify to buy the stamp of the month for only $5.

Happy Crafting!

  1. I loved the Cloud9 card kit, but would have never thought to switch out other patterned paper. Brilliant!
