Random Stamping Cards


I saw a fantastic card technique that I just had to try. Melinda Everitt's blog had these cards that are sponged and random stamped. You can check out her blog here.

For my cards I used the butterfly from Celebrate Life C1287 stamp set and embossed it first using clear detail embossing powder Z821. First, I used long post it notes to mask the card. After embossing the butterflies, I sponged on the inks and additional stamped butterflies. I also tried it using the small rose flower from the Card Word Puzzle (C1494) stamp set. The phrases are from a variety of stamp sets.



I absolutely love how these cards came out.

    When you said you used Celebrate Life to create a card like Melinda Everitts' card I just had to come see! Just love these (your) cards!! Thinking of doing a card class using this technique, too!
